Springtime: Germany and Folk
April 18th, 2010

Johan is playing at Magnet in Berlin the 30th of April. Funniest thing ever is that the Swedish embassy is promoting the event as well! This makes us proud yet slightly amused at the same time, given that Krazy Fiesta was created as some sort of anti-project. A few years later, it is a national symbol. LOL.

In addition, 2 KF-tracks released by Swedish fav label Hybris are now available on Spotify. Spring-ish and pop-ish!

Finally, In a few weeks our folk-project will be born. We’ll post it here on our secret promo page for free as well, of course.

2010
January 30th, 2010

New year, new releases and adventures coming up. KF agenda includes a bunch of new releases (including the 2nd on Kompakt) and a bunch of new dates (big special day in Berlin in april will be epic). And, our first folk production will be blessing the crowds of Norway. Also, we just got a cool collabo with a cool label. More on that later.

KF Adrian Advent Mix
December 6th, 2009

It is true. Our fav label Adrian Recordings asked us to go bananas on their 2009 catalogue. So we did.

Get the full story here!

First mix in ages, featuring some rare gems and exclusive appearences by up and coming Nils Bech, Leo Nathorst of Boeoes Kaelstigen, Lorentz and trumpet genious Jonne Bentlöv of Quiet Nights Orchestra. It also features an exclusive live dub interpretation of Swedish grammy nominee Andreas Tilliander.

As you may imagine, this is not the average usual suspects-kind of thing. You need this.

KF + O’Spada
October 21st, 2009

We’re proud to announce a prosperous and sacred production-collabo with mighty band O’Spada, to be released on Despotz Records mid November. The idea is, as always, to surprise and renew. Therefore, this gem is neither dub techno nor 130 bpm dance mania. Rather, this is an up to date analogue disco piece with a KF twist.

KF goes dub.
October 14th, 2009

The second KF-featured release on swedish Trunkfunk is about to see daylight. This time, it is Trevor Loveys who teams up with Affie Yusuf and Spoek and delivers “Bitch Fight”. The KF interpretation resembles what dub from Twin Peaks would sound like, with a chicago twist in the end. In other words, highly unexpected. Release also includes cool cat tracks from acts like The Touch, Stuffa and Made To Play.

Get a sneak peak here!

Our next track to be released is produced under the name KF Arkestra and is more of a folk-popish thing, containing live marimba and cembalo. Nils Bech does the vox. Woop woop!

Ps. This is one of the best tracks ever made. Seriously:
